About This Book
Rain taps the wide window, and Mila has a plan: a fort bigger than the couch, bigger even than Pepper the cat. But the blankets keep sliding off with a whoosh, the chairs wobble, and when she checks the basket and then the closet, there are no more blankets anywhere in the house. This was not in the plan. Her little brother Nico is holding one droopy edge with both hands. Jada from next door has just arrived with rain-speckled sleeves and striped socks. Pepper is batting at a corner like it's a mouse. Somewhere in this living room there has to be another way to build something wonderful. A cozy story about bending a plan.
